Day or night, using bike lights on every ride is an important way to stand out to motorists and other path and road users. That’s why we’ve paired the Beamer 700 headlight with the Rojo 100 tail light to create our brightest combo set that’s ideal for high noon rides, midnight escapades, and everything in between. The Beamer 700 uses Total Internal Reflection (TIR) technology to generate a 700 lumen output that lights up the path aheadand the Rojo 100 tail light is packed with up to 100 lumens of power so you’ll be sure to be noticed every time you hop on your bike. Both lights are powered by lithium rechargeable batteries that provide long run times and are quick to recharge with the included USB type-C cable.

I, like a lot of people who bought this, read the NYT Wirecutter and wanted something on a budget that would at least help cars see me better at night. At this price point, I expected it to just be about visibility instead of being able to see. But I am happy to report that this is a lot more useful than expected for the price. You could find lights that last longer, are brighter, and even lights that are way easier to mount. But to have a light that lasts enough to get you home, is bright enough to be seen from down a block or two and to see about halfway down that block, and with incredibly adjustable mounting options you cannot go wrong with this set of lights.
