As others have mentioned, one of the notable features of this model is how robust it is. I let my kids play with the legos I build and it usually only takes a matter of hours before a quarter of the model is ripped off. However with Quad Bike 42034 not a single part has yet to come off.Another bonus of this model is that it still looks good without the stickers. Another kudos to Lego for that. This model isn't the first "quad bike" that lego has released. There were at least 2 more before it, perhaps more depending on which you count. I have one of the earlier quad bikes released 4 years ago and compared to that one this model is half the parts and about 20% smaller. Also notable is that the earlier quad bike had steering where as this model does not. What you get in exchange for a smaller model and no steering is the pullback motor. This was actually my first set with a pullback motor and it's much more capable than I had expected it to be. It's strong enough to send the bike moving swiftly over typical carpet. In summary, my kids loved this model; there is a good selection of parts; at 148 pieces it doesn't take hours to build. Overall 5 stars for an excellent model.Building this LEGO set was a fun experience for me and my son. He is at an age that the larger sets take too long and bore him, but the simple sets don't test him. Playability is very important to him. When he finishes a build he likes to play with it just like a prefabbed toy. This set has a pull back motor that is strong enough to push the 4wheeler fast and far. We build ramps for it and crash it into other toys without it falling apart.I am very pleased with this purchase and strongly recommend it to LEGO fans from age 7 to 99 and parents who want a bonding experience with their kids.My 7 year old son loved this toy and as a mom who loathes picking up lego pieces all over the floor I loved it too! It doesn't come apart easily once put together. He crashes it into furniture and it stays together. This also took longer to put together but wasn't too hard for him to figure out. This is highly recommended for the avid, but maybe still young, Lego builder.Bought these as a donation gift for Christmas. They do not come with an instruction booklet, it needs to be downloaded. I'm lucky that my husband noticed that on the back of the box. We printed them out and wrapped them up with the gift.As far as the product goes, I feel you really can't go wrong with Legosgrand sons are LEGO fanatics ages 10 and 6 They enjoyed the lego sets but they were a bit too easy for the 10 year oldGiftMy son loved it, excited to open the box and build it. It was his birthday gift. The steering wheel was bit loose to fit in, for that, he just leaves it off.Other than that, the pull back and go feature was fun and he could actually "play' with this technic, rather than build and display. These Lego Technic vehicles are great! Got them for my boys for Christmas and they still love them! The Quad Bike is fun because it is a bit bulkier than the others and thus is a bit better at running over obstacles... like minifigs. ;)Great toy but my son of 8 years old needed help to build it. A little harder than regular legoMy nephew loved it! I'm a very proud auntie :-)Fun set. Good to build with adult.Bought this as a gift for my cousin, and he loved it.My 8'th year old son loves this stuff.
