These shifters appear to be well made, fit nicely and were easy to operate once installed. They are advertised as being for a nine-speed derailleur, but when I installed them, I could only get them to shift through seven gears, no matter how I tried to adjust them. The amount of cable travel on the old shifter is 36mm, the travel on this shifter is only 22mm. I'm not sure if I got a bad one or there's some sort of internal adjustment that's required but I'm returning them for a set of Shimanos.Any bicycle beginner can do this! Strong cables and very easy.The rear shifter does not work with Shimano 10spd. It works for the first 3 cogs then starts skipping every 2 cogs. It works fine on the front. I am using it on 105 group.
