I have 4, 20 year old Zappy scooters. I used these to upgrade and modernize the scooter. It works great. Kids love being able to dead start without having to run the scooters up to speed first. Decent throttle sensitivity and much easier to control vs. the old method of feathering the throttle.The key lock is great in that it disconnects the power, so the battery shouldn't drain. The voltage meter let's you know if you've got power to ride, which is awesome.
