The seat makes this balance bike suitable for children with inside leg measurements between 30cm to 46cm (11.8” to 18”) This spans an average of ages 18 months to 5 years. No need for training wheels, ever! The pedal-less design of a balance bike means the feet act as the training wheels, so kids learn the proper way to balance on their center of gravity. The grip taped footrests are contoured into the frame for easy freewheeling, air-filled rubber tires for a smoother ride and a padded stem for extra protection. Fully safety tested by TÜVRheinland for children aged 18months+ (EN71). CE approved. This bike is awesome! Our 3 year old has been using it for the last year and is cruising. I like that this bike has real tires and not plastic kind of tires like the strider bike, makes the ride much smoother and seems to be easier to control especially when we bring him to the pump track/moutain biking.We had the strider when our older child was younger but I like this bike much better.
